Carter Hunsaker and Sharon Wambu have been chosen to audition for the Regional/All-Southern Honor Choir.

On November 15-16, they are headed to the University of Redlands for rehearsals, then if scoring high, they will become a part of the honor choir in March.

Hunsaker (11) has been in choir now for two and a half years. In a recent interview, he stated that being nominated is “very special.” His favorite part about choir is the community it brings. He wants to attend BYU after high school, then hopes and become a vocalist/musician. Hobbies he enjoys include playing the piano and trumpet and hiking.

Wambu (11) has been a member of choir for a year and a half.  She is excited for this opportunity because “It is making me prepared for the unknown because we don’t know what songs will be asked to sing.” She said it was a challenge to learn two songs in different languagesbut she is hopeful her hard work will pay off. Currently she is a part of ASB, Link Crew, basketball, and of course, choir.

This journey is going to be an amazing ride for these two. Norco High knows these two will keep on doing great things. Keep up the good work and destroy the competition!
